Another early product from the 80’s was
this simple Drum table- with a tabletop of sheet metal that was
stretched over the frame like an animal hide. We made many of
these tables, usually in batches of 12 or 24 at a time. Some were
round, like this one, and others were triangular.

I made another line of designs that
I called Twig furniture- with branchlike steel frameworks,
and sheet metal tops stretched over them. There were several
designs of tables, stools, and chairs in this line, with
probably at least a hundred of them made and sold.

Sometimes my work is almost pop art- like
this series of coin tables, with simple cut out versions
of nickels, pennies and dimes. These were powdercoated in
metallic copper and silver finishes. 12", 16",
and 18" in diameter.

This is an all steel table from my Tablecloth
series, with the metal folded and draped to resemble cloth.
I made these round and square, as well as rectangular like
this one, in small and large sizes.

One of the things I love about working
with metal is the ability to make it resemble other things-
these tables have the metal draped like fabric, and made
into tassels,beads, and swags.
