This 10 foot long bench was commissioned by the Coconut Grove Arts Festival as a gift to the City of Coconut Grove for the 30th Anniversary of the Festival in 1993.

One of six artist-designed benches, it is permanently sited in Myers Park on the beach in Coconut Grove Florida.

Made of handbent and plasma cut steel, it depicts various flora and fauna of Florida: alligators, fish, sea birds, shells and crustaceans.

 

Commissioned by the Coconut Grove Arts Festival.
