Located in Les Grove Park in Auburn, Washington, this enormous picnic table is a functional sundial.

Made of recycled timbers and galvanized steel, it is inlaid with stone and brass indicators.

The table is 16 feet long and 8 feet wide. The telescope-like stainless steel gnomon casts a shadow that tells the time and date.

Commissioned by the City of Auburn.
