I worked with the kids of Lowell
Elementary School, in Bellingham, Washington to put their artwork
on the wall of their playground.
Students ranging from kindergarten
to 5th grade submitted drawings. Then my wife, artist Sheila Klein
and I chose 60 drawings that would translate best to metal cutouts.
I cut the pieces out of steel,
had them powdercoated and bolted to the wall.
Commissioned by the Lowell PTSA.
