These stainless steel wireframe
sculptures allude to San Antonio influences - the Air Bases, the
cement industry, and the Germano-Mexican fusion of cultures.
They have quotations about remembering
and forgetting, written in English, Spanish and German, inscribed
on the horizontal bands wrapping around each one.
Made from shining stainless steel,
they sit on the lawn outside the San Antonio Convention Center.
commissioned by the city of San Antonio.
