Alphabet Benches 2003
Snohomish Public Library, Snohomish Washington

I made 2 of these benches, one for either side of the main entrance to the new library building. Each bench is 9 feet long and 4 feet tall, forged and fabricated steel, then hot dip galvanized. Alphabet letters are hot stamped into the hexagon connectors. The hexagons are then connected together with a triangular grid of twisted square bar.

Commissioned by the City of Snohomish.
